Our explanation

The short answers, context, and labeled tables make the records easier to read. They are not official government statements or independent verdicts.

The limits

An estimate is not a guarantee. A proposed statute is not an enacted law. Each answer includes the relevant conditions, uncertainty, or policy judgment.

The source register includes the Secretary of State ballot listing and registered committees, the final filed Initiative #308 text, and the 2026 Blue Book analysis, arguments, and fiscal forecast. Committee listings and forecasts can change after the date checked.
