A state fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. The first transfer date is separate from the November 2026 election. The initial revenue calculation is due from Legislative Council Staff no later than March 15, 2027.
What to keep in mind
Approval would not mean that the forecast money is distributed on election day. The cited date is the statutory transfer schedule, not a promise that every grant or project begins that day.
